That is exactly why I like to know WHY a person likes a certain place. I tend to like cozy places with lots of interesting nooks and crannies, but obviously, you need wider halls and doorways, not to mention decent sized rooms. A "cute" but tiny bathroom would be useless for you.

Just for you, I found these homes that are handicap accessible.

Yes...I see the stairs going down to the walkout level...but that white "closet" next to them is an elevator.

Total square footage is awesome in this 5 bdrm. 6 bath home although don't think I'd really like it cause the pool is to small. hahahah...

I am liking this house for the water falls that runs under it although really don't think that it would be good for the foundation and don't think I'd be able to stand the sound 24-7. Hope there is some ways to turn it off or make sure the house is really sound proof.

Dang, Steven...if you can figure out how to turn off Mother Nature, you are a smarter person than I am! lol (It IS beautiful...and I think that over time, you would become used to the sound and not even notice it.)

Dang, Steven...if you can figure out how to turn off Mother Nature, you are a smarter person than I am! lol (It IS beautiful...and I think that over time, you would become used to the sound and not even notice it.) But of course I can control nature dear lady, it's one of my vast aray of powers. Hahaha...
And as you said I find it now that I am needing more space to get around these days specially in bathrooms and hallways. Only up till 11 years ago I enjoyed living in my own double wide moble home here in southern Cali. Before that I lived in my little cabin in Mt. San Jacinto not to far from Idywild, Ca. I owned the cabin but didn't own the land for it's a federal forest. Wasn't off the grid but expenses where really down didn't use that much elec. because usually cooked on a wood range and heat was in the fireplace and small wood cast iron pot belly.
If it got to dang cold I'd just hick down to Hemet from elevation is 6000 ft. plus to 4,000 ft. On the Mt. it can be snowing and temps in Hemet can be for 90.

Truely a dream home that I would love to live in thinking I'd have to get a lighter wheel chair and a good solid cable for a lift up there. haahaahaa...
