Councillors, clergy, schoolchildren, veterans and civilians took part in the ceremony on Remembrance Sunday, organised by Prescot Town Council and led by the Vicar of Prescot, Reverend Canon John Taylor, The War Memorial In Prescot,with the 1000 year old Prescot church spire.

LOVE the Grinch in the boat! LOL That IS Fire Department equipment! (The boat...NOT the Grinch) Because we are on Lake Ontario, the abutting communities are equipped for water rescues.

Do you guys have a boat parade? When I lived in Sebring, Lake Jackson is the centerpiece of that town and every year they have a Christmas boat parade

They may have them downtown or in one of the neighboring communities, but in Webster there is very little public access for boats. Most of the shoreline has steep banks.

grew up on Lake Texoma, the closest we ever got to a boat parade was 4th of July, they shoot fireworks over the lake and the best viewing position is in a boat

Kryten: I don't think the spire can be that old, although it's possible parts of the church may be.

The Christmas market last night was Bedlam compared to last week. The market next week will be absolute pandemonium. I didn't get to take a picture as I couldn't find a place to get a clear shot without blocking people's way, but I think I have an idea where to try from next week.
